D. Williams & Co., P. C., began in 1987 when Don Williams left the Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. firm. Prior to that, Mr. Williams had been a partner in the Peat Marwick Mitchell firm which purchased the Edwin E. Merriman & Co. practice in Lubbock, in 1981. The Merriman & Co. association dates back to 1960.
